Use warm orange across the body, a paler cream on the face and claws, and bright red or coral on the mushrooms. Yellow or white spots make the caps stand out clearly. Add a darker orange beneath the shell and around the leg joints to suggest depth. Paras pages are suitable for intermediate beginners because the main areas are open, although the thin legs and mushroom stems need careful coloring.

A forest floor with leaves, moss and small stones gives the character a natural setting and offers extra green tones.
