An idea for coloring Pidgeotto
Pidgeotto’s colors
A familiar scheme combines warm brown wings, a cream chest, yellow feet and beak, plus red accents on the crest and tail. Lay down the light chest color first, then build darker brown layers outward across the overlapping wing feathers.
The red areas benefit from a touch of orange near the tips to keep them lively.
What if you chose your own colors?
Pidgeotto often appears in active poses, so clouds, wind lines, treetops or a distant landscape can reinforce the impression of flight. Use colored pencils for feather texture or markers for a clean animated look.
When adding a sky, choose pale blue rather than a heavy dark fill, allowing the bird's pointed wings, talons and flowing head feathers to remain sharply readable.
Recognizing Pidgeotto
Pidgeotto is a Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon with a larger wingspan, hooked beak, strong talons and a long red crest sweeping behind its head. Compared with Pidgey, the extended feathers create more sections and make the page suitable for colorists ready for an intermediate challenge.
